The horseshoe nail necklace was created to promote awareness for the NY STATE SENATE BILL S5013 + NY STATE ASSEMBLY BILL A7748 that “prohibits the operation of horse-drawn cabs in the city of New York.”

50% of all proceeds will go to support awareness of the Ban, The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act, and to a selection of organizations that rescue horses from slaughter.

The design features an old horseshoe nail cast in brass and heat branded scraps of tack leather. Each element is hand worked and assembled. The horseshoe nail is a symbol of a small but significant element that can make all the difference in the care and protection of horses.

Don’t forget to support BILL 86, which would replace horse-drawn carriages with eco-friendly vintage electric cars.
